Oh dear, that looks very much like the test patterns they had me looking at yesterday at the optometrists.
There may be someone here who can work with filters and screens etc, to bring up a bit of the wording.

To get a photo that's readable you need to stand at an angle from the headstone, preferable in early morning or late afternoon.
Not that this will help you now, but if you are in a position to photograph a headstone another time.
There are a few tricks to photographing headstones, several are destructive and most are frowned on. But the angle of light and shadow are the greatest help.
