Hi, welcome to Rootschat.
Do you have location and dates?  Without these it's difficult to find anything much.  Is Delmore a village/town?  If so, what county is it in? Or am I being very ignorant here... On second thoughts, don't answer that!

Regards,

Welcome to Rootschat. To start with I've moved your thread to Ireland-General board until we know what county this belongs in (there are 6 counties in Northern Ireland: Antrim, Armagh, Derry/Londonderry, Down, Fermanagh, Tyrone).

The only date you've mentioned is 1912- does that mean you've found them signing the Ulster Covenant in 1912 or did you get that year from another source?

Exactly what information are you looking for? marriage? children? census? etc.? We really can't help you much until you tell us what you are trying to find and what information you already have.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

I know they were there sometime before that date as my G G Grandfather was in glasgow in that year.
I am looking for a marriage location.
Also looking for information on land stewards at that time

Do you think the marriage took place in Ireland? You can check index to Irish civil registrations (free) at:
http://pilot.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html#p=collectionDetails;t=searchable;c=1408347
William Johnston is such a common name that you won't be able to know which one might or might not be him but the name Jane Delmore is much rare- in fact I did a quick search for Jane Delmore's marriage and nothing.

Did they have children? If so, when and where were the children born?

i found one marriage for delmore  in fermanagh. the same couple on the 1901 census,on the 1911 census for antrim i find their son henry age 18 at a boarding school in belfast he is blind and i think its him on the ulster covenant 1912 signs as harry with an x and its signed by someone on his behalf. a william delmore from fermanagh also signs the covenant i am assuming this is his father.

Thanks for your help.
Delmore is the maiden name of Jane.
William Johnston and Jane Delmore had a son called William Henry Born around 1857. He was married to a Susan Hillock?, then married a bridget McCusker in glasgow in 1912.
I also know that his father and mother were dead before 1912.
I would like to thank you all for your assistance THANKS
