will do treetotal,where in yorkshire you?,people left lincolnshire in the 1800s to follow work that was created by the industrial revolution,very few names that are in this area now were here then.

try the marfleet family history pages on internet,an old friskney family who have died out in this area,if you look at their family tree you could possibly find some of your ancestors,let me know how you go on regards kevin

I wonder if anyone with local knowledge could tell me whether Church End, Friskney still exists...I had rellies living there in 1841.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

the good intent is now a general store and post office that provides a good service to the community,but going back years it was a public house owned by batemans brewery who are still in production at a small town up the road called wainfleet all saints.
