Hi. Yes, Friskney Church End does still exist. I am a Friskney person born and raised there, now living 5 miles away. I have a lot of rellies that have lived there going back to at least 1841, all farmers. Church End at the moment has the All Saints church, a post office/general store, Infant and junior school (which I and my children went to) also a private school which used to be the vicarage, and a pub called the Anchor which has been there for years, there also used to be a pub called the Good Intent but it is now the Post Office. When I got married I lived on Church Lane for a long time. Friskney is a very large village and also very highly populated. My ancesters were Wrights and Smiths. The village also has another pub called The Barley Mow with an excellent restaurant. Hope this info helps. Bye for now.
