 i notice the street as  ???? bedminster. can you read the street name.

 most of my family come from bedminser, long ashton and clifton area of bristol. i may have something in my records

I would have gone for TRY or FRY.

There are two baptisms for Sarah Ann Fry in Bristol on the IGI, one in 1837 and another in 1838. Nothing for Try.

I agree, the first letter does look the same as the T.  I'm not sure about the second being an 'o' as it seems to join the next letter from the bottom, whereas other 'o's join from the top.

Not much help I'm afraid.

The address is 27 somerset street bedminster. i thought it might be TAY. 1838

I know she is born 1837 in 1871 census and born 1840 in 1881!!

clifton or bristol, definately same woman though, kids are same.

Thank yo very much for the look up offer most of my family are from bedminster, wood, west,williams, sollars,snell and clark all born in bedminster. and just found mary ann salmon 1839 bedminster.

thing is i cannot find any possible marriages for my samuel sollars in the right time period. he was born in long ashton, bristol and first child born 1863 he would have only been 23 then, i know they were married before 1871 cos says so in census, i have checked with all spellings for a marriage between samuel and any sarah, nothing!!!
