1891 - Jane's surname is Beard!

So is the Nelly BAIRD really Beard or vice versa ?

the Blyth birtplace is key - has the OP mixed up 2 generations ?

also, Job M Briant / Bryants mother was a Margaret. (see 1881)

Added: Jane, William and Nelly are indeed BAIRD in 1881 - and she is born Northumberland.

Sorry, for my error above - not concentrating. The surname appears as Baird and Beard in the transcribed parish records. It looks like there may be some link to Anthony Couch as William marries as William Couch Beard & the families are neighbours in 1871.

His sister Charlotte also has Couch as a middle name at marriage.
