Paisley Church Records - Rippey Family

I am researching my Rippey family in Scotland.  Searching Rippey on Scotlandspeople returns none (of mine).  I have in my position a copy of my 3g grandmother's baptism (Janet Bannington 1800), my 3g  grandparent's marriage (Thomas Gordon Rippey to Janet Bannington 1821) and my 2g grandmother's baptism (Janet Rippey 1824). All are from the Paisley High Church records.   These copies were past onto me by a cousin who had visited the church a few years ago.  There are 3 other children who I  believe would have been baptised in the church and there are probably other records.

I couldn't understand why I could never find my 2g Grandmother's siblings and then it suddenly clicked.  Even the ones I have are not coming on Scotlandspeople. Which leads me to hope Janet's sibling will be available in the church records.   

How would I get someone locally to looks them up?  Is there a local historical society?

do you have Thomas and Janet on the censuses
doing a general search on SP there is a
Thomas Rippey with second person Janet
they are in Abbey Parish Renfrew
this would maybe help you their children may still be with them
if they were not married or left home to work
I can only see one Birth for a Thomas Rippy on IGI
it is 1806 in Port Glasgow his parents are
William Rippy and Catherine McKay this couple had three children then
Thomas above and
Agnes Rippey 1810 Port Glasgow
Sarah Rippy 1812 Port Glasgow

Yes I have the census for 1841.   All the family are listed with the exception of the first born.   The 1806 Thomas is not my direct line.  I wonder if he might be a cousin.  One of Janet Gordon Porter's (nee Rippey) children was named Agnes (b 1854) so there will be a link.   My Thomas Gordon Rippey was born 1798.  I have his wife Janet Bannington's baptism 1800 and their marriage 1821.  His age at death on his DC fits in with 1798 as does the census entries.   

I have copies of the church records which would indicate Paisley high church records have not been transcribe to the SP database.  I have no doubt the church will have the other records.  I guess I will have to write to them (I'm nervous of a high fee).  I thought a local historical society might be a cheaper option.

Janet had 5 siblings, my gr grandfaher was the youngest sibling - Robert Gordon RIPPEY.
