Thank you all so much for your input to my dilemma. I appreciate everything that you have given to me... I tend to agree with Geoff and only a Marriage Cert will either prove or disprove the following information that I have researched...to me this all ties in with what I have already..
1. 1809. Martha was Bapt 29 Jan 1809 @ South Kyme. Lincs.
1A. 1826 Martha was a Witness at the Marriage of my GGrandparents. Edward Sharp & Susannah Plowright in Pinchbeck & signed the Register.
2, 1841 UK Census- Martha living @ Pelham with parents John & Mary- Martha not married.
3, 1846 29 June 1846 Martha Married William Lake ( son of William) @ Holland Fen. (Source Lincs Marriages 1837 Boston-1837-1850 ).what a surprise!
4. 1847 William Lake husband of Martha Sharp died Sept 1847 @ Wisbeck ( Source UK Free BMD Vol 14. page 96.)
5. 1849 Martha Lake (nee Sharp/e) Married John Lankfer - Sept 1849 Wisbeck. ( Source: UK Free BMD- Vol 14 page 330 )( 2nd Marriage for Martha )
6. 1851 John & Martha Lankfer living @ 79 High Road. Wisbeck. Cambridgeshire. ( Source: 1851UK Census. HO 107/1766-Folio 200/Page 24
7. 1861 Can't find Martha or John..

? ( checked Census- must be looking in wrong place) am probably tired.. LOL..
8. 1871 Martha is a Housekeeper for Joseph Ward @ (13 Five Million ?? South Kyme. Lincs- can't quite read the Census properly ) she is a Widow.( Source: 1871 UK Census

9. 1881 Martha aged 72years is a Visitor her brother Thomas and Clara Sharp/e's house Number 6 North 40Ft. Side. South Kyme. Lincs.( Source:
10. 1881 UK Census RG11/3220- Folio 126- Page 2..........Interesting to note Martha is a Visitor with Caroline Bagenell aged 63 years.. both women are listed as " Annuitants"...I checked Wikipedia & found this means " An Individual who receives Benefits from an Annuity"... Hmmmm!!! she must have come into some money.
10. 1886 Martha Lankfer ( nee Sharp/e ) died Circa November 1886 and was buried on 25 November 1886 @ All Saints Church. Holland Fen.(Source:
