 By 1901 he's living in Hammersmith - For birth it just records "At sea"

Occupation - Watch and clock maker

2 sons at the property - Frederick and Albert

One is an apprentice Watch maker and the other is a Railway Labourer

That's okay - it is easy to get muddled up.

But I could not find a Henry G Hamilton on the 1841 Census.

Maybe he came back later than thought.

Cool Yes I have all that info I just need to go backwards and find Henry dad's dad which is proving to be very hard indeed.
