With a surname like Lloyd - you will need to supply a lot more information

When was Thomas born

When and where did he marry Jane

Who were their children and when and where were they born

Carlin (Ireland & Liverpool) Doughty & Wright (Liverpool) Dick & Park (Scotland & Liverpool)

Hi,  that's the problem I hardly have any info to go on !

Thomas Lloyd born in Llanbedr Denbighshire is my gr gr grandfather. He had a brother Simon. One of these was born around 1829 I think !

Thomas and Jane had a son Robert Simon Lloyd b 1871 in Cheltenham.

When Thomas was a widow he moved with Robert to Liverpool.

Robert married Margaret Jane Horne in Liverpool.

Very Vague I know but it's all I've got I'm afraid.

Hi

Sadly, the Clwyd FHS parish transcripts for Llanbedr finish in 1812 so, unless someone had has access to the local records beyond that date, there's very little information available.

His marriage cert  would give his father's name and occupation.

Are you close to a local records centre?

Have you checked the 1881 census?  Jane was still alive when they were in Liverpool

I'm wondering if this family on the 1841 is related

Cross Foxes, Llanbedr Dyffryn Clwyd
HO107/1404/5/8/9

Thomas Lloyd, 60, ag lab
Elizabeth, 55
Jane, 20
Cathrin, 15
Samuel, 9

All b. county

It's the only Lloyd family showing in Llanbedr in 1841 that I can see

I see that Thomas's eldest son was named Lewis, so how about this family in 1841:

Llanfair Street, Llanrhydd, Ruthin
HO107/1404/20/6/7

Lewis Lloyd, 45, ag lab
Sarah, 35
Margaret, 11
Ellinor, 9
Elizabeth, 6
Simon, 5
John, 3
All born Denbighshire

On the 1851 census, John is down as being born Llanbedr:

Lodge Ucha, Ruthin
HO107/2504/277/8

Lewis Lloyd, 56, Ag Lab, b. Cerrigydridion
Sarah, 50, b. Gyffylliog
John, 13, b. Llanbedr
Martha, 6, b. Llanrhydd
