I have found this below, have asked someone who also is knowledgeable for her advise and she thinks the same as I do, so Kiwi, what do you think?

Richard RON aged 7 living Goswell St Islington, does show his place of birth as Islington but if you look at writing above I wonder if it is Rose, 1851 HO107/1519 folio 45 page 21 Goswell Road Clerkenwell

A distinct possiblity, he was in Clerkenwell in 1901.  Old stamping ground maybe :)
