Three Irish sisters left Cork aboard the ship Samuel Plimsoll.
in 1885 to emigrate to Australia.
Their names were Ellen, Bridget and Margaret GAVIN.
Would there be a document recording their previous location in Ireland, which is thought to be
either Roscommon or Cork? I have no other clue to their origin.
I am a descendant of Margaret Gavin who married John Bede Bugden
at Lewisham, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia on 21 February 1886.
Margaret Gavin died at Brighton-le-Sands, Sydney, on 23 June 1947, aged 85 years.
I would appreciate any help you can give me.
Best wishes,
DrGrandpa
