Brilliant, hopefully to answer to many problems.

There are cut-off dates for the parish registers which will be available online.

I quote from an email received by me when I asked what the dates would be:

Baptisms: 100 years ago (to avoid data protection issues).   At the moment registers which straddle 1911 are not being displayed but we are hoping to have this solved in time for the official launch of the website.

Marriages: June 1837  (we don't have permission to use images of the new-style registers introduced by the Registrar General after that).

Burials: no cut-off date.

The site is still being tested and developed, so the Links to the Past team welcome feedback.

Hopefully I will be able to concentrate personal visits to archives here in the south, and do Lincolnshire research through this site.A point before I email them with a comment, would it be an advantage if they made the cut off for church marriage records 1911, safeguarding privacy, but not risking copywrite issues.

The fact is that (at the moment, I don't know if it will change in the future) they do not have permission to use the images for the new-style registers introduced on 1 July 1837..
I suspect that permission may have to come from the Bishop of Lincoln, or certainly the Church authorities.

Thanks Pam, an email seems inappropriate at present I think.

Is there a page where you can just see what parish records you can view online ?

I only saw Broxholme parish records ? I saw you can transcibe them too ?

Are there plans to put all parishes on ? Looks a very good site, especailly if they keep adding to it !

Is the site working yet? I have tried to call up Alford parish Registers and can only get the front page not the content. Am I thick, clumsy or both? Anyone else had the same access problems?
