Looking for info on Albert Parker Duxbury born April Q of 1893 in Blackburn. He married Nellie Jackson in 1915 in Blackburn and they went to Canada in 1920 and settled in Toronto he came back to england for visits in 1926 and 1935 but after that I have no info . Would like to know when & where he/ and or Nellie died.
I have 3 addresses in Toronto for Albert Jones Avenue 1920, Burgess avenue 1926 and 7 Doncaster avenue 1935.

Ontario death records from after 1939 are currently protected by privacy laws. If they stayed in Toronto you might want to try looking for BMD announcements in the Toronto Star archives. It's a pay site but not very expensive. Here's the link:

The couple did appear on Canada Voters List 1957 - 316 Wychwood Avenue York Toronto -
Albert Duxbury (painter) and Nellie.

1958 - same address - Albert and Nellie with a Gordon Smith.

Only Nellie listed on Canada Voters List 1963 at Wychwood Avenue, York Toronto - also a Gordon Smith (contractor) at the same address.

Obituary for Albert in the Toronto Star 13 Oct 1959, page 39

It says that Albert Duxbury died at St. Joseph's Hospital, Toronto, on Monday October 12 1959.   His address was 316 Wychwood Ave.   Husband of Nellie Duxbury.  Brother of Allen and Mrs Tom Ellison (Evelyn), both of England.   Interment Prospect Cemetery

I think this is Nellie - remarried....

Toronto Star 11 Jan 1989, page B12

Nellie Veness died at the Toronto East General Hospital on Monday, January 9 1989.  In her 95th year.  Wife of the late Victor and the late Albert Duxbury.  Sister of Bessie and Alik Gardner.   Many nieces, nephews and friends.   Interment Prospect Cemetery.

It looks like Nellie married her brother in law...

Obituary for Nellie's sister Beatrice in the Globe and Mail 4 March 1963.   It says Beatrice Jackson Veness died at the Toronto East General Hospital on March 1 1963.  Beatrice Jackson, aged 70, wife of Harold Victor Veness, 9 Haldon Ave, East York.  Mother of Tom, Reg, Alf and Ray Holden of Toronto.  Sister of Mrs Mildred Taylor, Mrs Nellie Duxbury, Mrs Bessie Gardner and Mr William Jackson of Toronto, and Gertrude Atherton of England.  Survived by 14 grandchildren.   Interment Highland Memory Gardens.
