I thank the Moderator for correcting my listing e-mail and postal mail address; plus explanation of same.

My own corrections: Ship should be "Gen. Hamer" (not Hammer), named for U.S. Mexican War general. "Snowden" (not Snowded).

Another Irish ancestor of interests is Adam Hollinger who circa the 1750's owned Hollinger's Island off Mobile, Alabama. His picture shows him wearing a wig. Many wifes and at least one concumbine (Native American heritage, son Wm. Hollinger acknowledged). Most wifes had some Native American blood.  I descend wife Mme. Maria Josephine de Juzan Hollinger. Titus and William Hollinger of Georgia, sutlers and distillers, may also be from Ireland (not my lines)?  Adam Hollinger's parents are unknown, but he descends 1649 Swiss-Irish militia Capt. Ruprecht Robert Hollinger, born 1590 Waldshist, Swizerland, married 1640 (Holland?).  Where is Robert buried?  Who were all this children? I descend Adam's daughter Margaret Hollinger who 1815 wed 3rd U.S. Infantry, Col. Gilbert Christian Russell, Sr., for whom Russell County, Alabama, is named.
