Hi there would you kindly let me know which Lynas family members you have. It has been next to impossible for me to find my relatives.

Kindly,,
Jan

Yes you are right! I thought I had travelled this path before but looking for so many in different places that I sometimes forget who I had contacted. Please forgive for wasting your time.

I do appreciate the info you have provided but I cannot link them to any of mine.

Kindest regards,
Jmama

I'm trying to find information about my grt grt grt Granny Mary Watson born c1800 in Kinglassie. On the 1851 Census the family were living at "Session Feus" Ballingray. I can't find her on any later census nor on SP deaths so I think she probably died between 1851-55. I think her parents were Henry Watson and Barbara Cousin. Her husband was Robert Whyte c1806-1868 born Auchterderran. He died at Bothwell, Lanarkshire so it's possible that he was buried there. Robert's father was George Whyte and I think his mother was Grizzel Adams. I'm not certain that any of my relatives were buried at Lochgelly but I thought it was worth asking if you could help. Thank you.

My Great Grandfather Henry Giles was born in Lochgelly about 1853. His mother was Barbara Whyte and his father was Henry Giles. His parents were not married and Barbara later married Daniel Mathieson in Lochgelly in 1856. It's Henry Giles senior that I'm interested in as I already have a lot of information on his son. I can find no trace of Henry senior in BDM or census so he is a bit of a mystery! Do you have any burial records for any Giles? Thank you.
