Lookup request UK incoming & outgoing
« on: Tuesday 24 January 12 21:05 GMT (UK) »
I would be most pleased if a kind person would be able to lookup on incoming or outgoing UK passenger lists for the following three people.

Harry WILLSMER born 1864 Sturmer, Essex, I have him on 1901 census then I cannot find him
Gwendoline Frances WILLSMER born 1898 Fulham (neice of Harry)in Walworth, London, in 1911
Hubert Frank WILLSMER born 1900 Fulham (nephew of Harry) in London Orphan Asylum, Watford or/ St Pancras School, Kings Langley, Herts, Watford, in 1911

I have already had help from another list in the past with journeys of the WILLSMER family being Caroline (myself and my grandmother) Ralph (my father and grandfather) Daphne (my mother) and Nicholas (my brother) to and from Canada and South Africa, so it only the 3 mentioned above.   It is a forlorn hope that they emigrated because after 1901/1911 (see above) I am unable to trace them.

Thank you
Caroline

I didn't find any  records of any of the 3 leaving the uk.  Sorry.

I think trying the electoral registers may help to find them.

Thank you Sandra, this will be a brand new link for me to follow.   Wonderful!  I do think this Harry must be mine, as WILLSMERS are few and far between.

Would you know if there is any other information on this passenger list?  I do know that sometimes someone can lookup a name but another person who has access to all details is able to view the actual documents.

Thanks Bishenbertie, yes Electoral records sounds a good idea.  Great that you found Hubert's death.   I looked on BMD for them both but must have a blind spot.   And thanks again Sandra re Gwendoline Frances.   Most helpful of you both.

Was there a marriage for Hubert do you know?   Obvioulsy nothing from Gwendoline.  Desperately hoping that my unmarried brother aged 67 is not the last of this particular branch of WILLSMERs, as it appears.
