Stacks emigrated to Pittsburgh
« on: Monday 07 May 12 19:28 BST (UK) »
Seeking any info on siblings John, Mary, Garrett, Lizzie Stack in Pittsburgh according to 1913  will of Margaret Stack Riley (their aunt) who died in Stamford, Connecticut . Their father was James Stack of Co. Kerry.

Seeking homeplace in Kerry of this James who had brother Garrett, sisters KAte, Margaret & possibly Elizabeth/ Eliza. All these sisters emigrated to USA. Garrett settled in Ennis, Co. Clare. Any clues leading to their birthplace in Kerry greatly welcome !  Fiona

Hi Tara, sorry I don't have any further info on them. I'm hoping the names might ring a bell with someone. Fiona

Hi Deb,

Well, what age was Margaret Stack Riley when she died in 1913 (you said you have her will).

Then we have a guideline for the age of her brother James and therefore his children.

Don't have actual will - just info from it. However, in 1910 census, she is listed as 58 years old. Assuming her brother James was older as he seems to have stayed in Kerry while all the other siblings left? Could be a false assumption though.... Fiona
