Shanahan
« on: Sunday 20 May 12 16:53 BST (UK) »
Hi

I'm hoping some one will be able to shed some light on the father of Mary Winifred Shanahan born circa 1885 in Ireland
as,  he signed her marriage document, his name was Michael Shanahan

Mary married a William G Ashley at St Dunstan Edge Hill Liverpool in 1907, Mary later passed away in 1911 aged 24

So I'm seeking information on Michael and his wife, where in Ireland, where were they born and also where mary was born

Rumour has it they were born in County Waterford

Any help on the above would be much appreciated

Many Thanks

Tomm

Have just answered your post on Lancashire board then found this duplicate topic in Ireland-General (which I've moved to WATERFORD).

Was this not the same family found for you in earlier post in 1901 Irish census?

Same family in 1911-

Since there're still in Ireland in 1911 it's not clear why you've started a new topic on Lancashire board but perhaps they later moved to England?

Dear Aghadowey

Please accept my apologies for my posting's as I'd forgotten that I had previously asked on the forum for help

I'm afraid it's called "senior moments"

Kind regards

Tomm
