Tracing F Jackson's daughter
« on: Friday 10 August 12 20:40 BST (UK) »
Can anyone help me find out more about the daughter of Frederick Jackson?

On his death certificate in March 1954, the informant is listed as 'M Stone, daughter, 17 Waddington Street E15'. So I'm assuming his daughter has married - although I've not been able to find a marriage or even birth that really fits.

Frederick died in London (Pancras area) in 1954 aged 68. His wife was called Frances Annie Jackson (though we've never found a marriage certificate). Can anyone help me find out a bit more about his daughter, the mysterious 'M'?

Thank you!

Hello,

There are a few M Jacksons who married Stones but I have no real way of knowing which is the right one. None seem to have been born in the right place, or with the right mother's maiden name (Phillips). I can't even find her in the electoral roll in 1954, despite having her address!

Hi,

The electoral roll for 1954 would have been compiled in 1953 so she could have been at another address;  my London families are like a set of billiard balls......moving around all the time.   ::)

Ooh, I didn't know that. But I'm still not sure what I'm looking for as I have no idea re birth of Frederick OR M Stone. Anyone got any ideas? (I can't even find his marriage cert to Frances Phillips)

It's as if they didn't exist!

Hi,

Could they have married in Scotland?

Hi

Not sure if this is any help but I have found a Frederick & Frances Jackson on the electoral rolls at 34 Millman Street Holborn (Pancras).

From 1945 until 1954 he is Frederick after 1954 until 1960 Frances is on her own, could fit in with his death in 1954. :-\

Strange thing, from 1930 until 1938 he is George & then in 1939 he is George Frederick, always 34 Millman Street.

Doesn't help with the errant daughter unfortunately.

Can I ask if you know anything about Frederick & is Frances Annie definitely a Phillips.

Hi

Please see earlier topic to avoid further duplication of known information from electoral rolls.
