West Derby, family history

Hello there, im new to all this & i have just started reseaching our family.
  Our Nan has recently passed away & theres lots we do not know about her Mother, she left 4 children at a young age & we dont really know why    So hoping we may find a little about the past.
Her name was Ada Plumb & she is believed to have married Albert Alchin  in West Derby 1912-1915, they had 4 children whom ended up in an orphange in the West Derby area. We do not know what happened to Ada... but we do know she was still alive in the 1960's.
Not a lot to go on I know

Ada Ethel Plumb is on the 1911 census with her mother & two brothers if you don’t have access you can view census free on Ancestry for a short period of time
