Hi NorrieG

Not sure if you can help me with this one:

Ellen Jane Grainger - she was born in 1890 in Kent, England and died in Kirkcaldy during 1987. She moved to Scotland around 1907/1908 and I have located her on the 1911 census.

Thanks in advance.

She married George Leith Grainger, her maiden name was Durrant. All I know about her death was it took place somewhere in Kirkcaldy.

Hi Alan this is the only Durrant surname I have on index, its from a headstone
in Hayfield Cemetery Kirkcaldy

Sacred to the memory of our dear son Gordon James Carr d. 27.8.1968 aged 5y. Also James, Dennis and Alan who d. in infancy. Also their grandmother Winifred Dora Durrant d. 2.8.1954 aged 55y beloved wife of James Carr. Also their mother Margaret Kerr Leslie d. 25.5.1982 aged 46y beloved wife of James Frederick Carr

Could this Winifred be a sister of hers?

Hello Norrie
any details on
Margaret Sellars (maiden name) Webster was my great x 3 grandmother who past away in 1858. She was buried at Kirkcaldy Church Yard by Andrew Carmichael Undertakers.

Would any members happen to know if there is a headstone for her at all?

I have tried internet searches but never been able to find any listing. Informant on DC was a Colin McPherson Son in Law 523 ? Kirkcaldy 1861 Census.

Hope some can help,
Regards
Markw

Hi Norrie
I've been trying to track down a headstone for my wife's great grandfather who we believe is buried in the old part of Dysart cemetery. If you had a photo that might help us track down the location then that would be fantastic.
The details I have are:
David Napier (Jan 1873 - Feb 1927) aged 54
he was married to
Helen Lindsay (C1875 - Aug 1939) aged 64
Many thanks
Ross
