Can't find a Death
« on: Tuesday 20 November 12 08:30 GMT (UK) »
I'm in need of some help here Please..need help on finding his DEATH only..I have all on him other than his death..

Charles HARRISON was born abt 1852 Spridlington Lincolnshire..he married Sarah AVEYARD in 1881 in West Yorkshire..on 1881 census he was 'a boarder' with Sarah and occupation was G.N.R. Company Servant. So between 1881 and 1891 he must had died! I can't find his death on various sources at all.
Many Thanks

Hi
I am not doing well here.  Trying to tie down where he lived/married in Yorkshire and failing as I can't find the marriage or the 1881 census.  Can you tell us a bit more?   Are we to assume that by 1891 Sarah is shown as a widow?

I was going to ask why you think he had died between 1881 and 1891.

I have looked at the 1881 census and Sarah is widowed with two children. It seems that Charles was just a boarder then unless they married later or they never married at all :-\

I can't find a marriage - but Sarah's daughter, Jemima is here in 1891 :

RG12/3723, Folio 104, Page 6

Staying with her uncle and family.

So it's possible they might have still been together in 1901 ?

Have you found Sarah on that census ?
