Just realised your saying William James died at infancy that's the one I have died 1925 married Mary Flynn .

Wade, it must have been the next William. They obviously named a child by the same name after one died.  So William (James) died and they named the next boy just William.

And this after Ann's last baby….. 

Ann WELLER aged 34 born HAMP (Hampshire) died 1875.
Father = William WEBB & Mother = unknown
Ref = 9714


I cannot see a WELLER/WEBB marriage in Victoria.

That is very sad they probably went out there for a better life Im guessing they went there in around 1862 so within 10 years or so they had lost 4 children then Ann dies as well.
