Alexander is my great great grandfather (Robert his son my great grandfather).  Robert having been born in Lisnadil.  I don't know his mother's name and seem to have drawn a blank on information for Lisnadil.

My grandmother married Robert's son, her maiden name was Maginness and Daniel is her father so my great grandfather on her side of the family.  With having both sides of the family sharing the same name (although spelling varies on census etc)  it can be confusing. I help from Rootschat I have traced Daniel and hope I will be as successful at tracing Alexander.

Thanks for explaining two great-grandfathers with same surname.

Lisnadill is both the name of a townland and a parish in County Armagh but at least you've an area to start with.
