Hi
Welcome to rootschat!

Do you know whether Harry was married?
About how old was he?

Heather

Thanks Heather, I went to see Harry's parents in 1952, After I had returned to the UK , I remember they had a Daughter but have forgotten her name , At that time they still lived on Higher bents lane.
It would be great to make contact with any living Family as I would like to pass on a Photo of Harry Derbyshires Grave which is in Zimbabwe , Military section) Athlone Cemetery
.

Hi Ernest and a warm welcome,

I guessed from your post that you would be trying to find relatives of Harry's rather than wanting to delve into his past.
If I have the correct family I think I might be able to help but as we're talking about living relatives I can't post on the board.
You need to have made three posts before you can receive a personal message, if you just reply to this post I can contact you with a PM.

Pat
