On FreeBMD: Found a marriage registered Sept 1915 in Pontypridd between Frank Yemm and Jemima Lewis.   And a Jemima Yemm died in the March Qtr 1944 registered in Windsor.  Could Jemima be your Ruth?
anything and everything to do with the village of Brithdir, near New Tredegar in Gwent.

And a possible son born in June 1931 quarter (surname Morgan, Yemm mother). Won't name him as he could be alive.

Just realised that if Ruth was born in 1916 she would only have been 14 when she got married in 1930 so maybe not the right one  :-\

There's also a Ruth Morgan death in Jun Q 1931 in Merthyr Tydfil (same as baby in reply no 3) but she was aged 21.

Hi

Thanks everyone.
Dannemois - yes this is my Jemima's death and hers and Frank's marriage. Ruth was her child from her second marriage.
Kgarrad - looked at all these and a couple of trees on ancestry but none of them are definite enough.

Possibly there is someone out there that knew the family and what happened to Ruth. Have found details of children by first marriage. I am looking around the Glamorgan and Berkshire area as Jemima lived in both and most of Jemima's children remained in Berkshire although one lived near Caerphilly.

thanks
Gill

If you want "definite" then you'll need to buy some certificates! ;D
