my partner is also doing a family tree , he has managed to trace back ti great granparnts but there are family members missing inbetween so far he has-

allan john turnbull grandparents-
william allan turnbull from methill, married agnus gilespie davie , marrage date 5th october 1943, bothe were born in the year 1923, these are my partners granparents he is now at a block for any sisters or brothers from these grandparents . children being isobel , gwen,wilma, allan

great granparents-
william turnbull who married mary gillies , dates unknown ,
these family members are past now , just looing for links to other family members

In 1943 - he married Agnes Gillespie Davie b approx 1920 - no parents details given in post

Have you looked on Scotlands People for a marriage between William Turnbull & Mary Gillies to get their respective ages and their respective parents names?  This will help to trace them on a census

william allan turnbull born may 1923 methil his wife agnus gilespie davie was also born may  1923 they were married 5/10/1942 , these are my parents grandparents,
agnus gilespie davies parents were robert davie and isobell davie(monghan)

william turnbull (william allan turnbull's father) was born methill and married to mary turnbull ( gillies maiden name)

 im looking for siblings of william allan turnbull and agnus davie

thanlks for that year 1913, i havent tried scotlands people web page as u need to purchase credits and at the moment i cane , im looking to find out any siblings of william and mary , thanks for the responce its great to have a reply

When you are able to view the 1913 marriage cert - bear this 1901 entry for Wemyss Fife in mind - all b Methil

Until you have more details of William from the 1913 marriage cert - it's not possible to find the right 1901 entry

If you want to check for more children born to George & Mary Gillies after 1901 - you would have to buy credits and view the 1911 entry on Scotlands People
