Death Look-Up William Farrow

Looking for details pertaining to the death of William Farrow, the death occurred on 29 Dec 1928 at the age of 48, in Winnipeg, Manitoba and the burial was at Prospect Cemetery in Toronto, Ontario  on 4 Jan 1929.

Thank you DBreeze1 for the great find.  Wish more cemeteries would scan and provide these details.  With your information I was able to locate the final resting place and other family members.  Again, many thanks.  Trying to locate William Farrow. b. 1880, England on the 1921 census and can't seem to find him.  Maybe another pair of eyes can.

I was wondering how sure you are that William was b. in England b/c the burial record above indicates he was b. in Ontario?

Yes, I am certain he was born in England even though the burial record at Prospect Cemetery states he was born in Ontario.  I have his birth record from Kendal, England and his immigration record arriving in Canada 7 Aug 1905 on the Athenia. On 1911 census, he states he is from England.  Cannot locate him on the Canadian census in 1921.

More questions than answers....very elusive chap.

Do you if he was married? Name of wife if he was?

Do you know anything about the Thomas Farrow who registered the burial? Son?

The Manitoba death cert might provide some details and the cost is low.

William Farrow never married.  Thomas Farrow who registered the death at Prospect Cemetery was his father.  Thank you for your suggestion, I will request the death certificate.

There is a listing for a William in the Henderson's Winnipeg Directory 1921.
