Peter Dignan-Mayor of Auckland COMPLETED

I am trying to verify that the middle name of my ancestor is Mark. Peter is the son of Patrick Dignan and Mary Derrom and was born in Auckland on24 Apr 1847. I saw this name in someone's family tree but have been unsuccessful at finding this middle name anywhere else. I am checking here for suggestions before I try contacting the Catholic Archives in Auckland (I live in the US). Thanks for any suggestions.

Not sure if this helps but there are two trees on Ancestry that have him on them. I don't have full membership so cannot check their sources

Birth: 1846 / 1851 - Auckland,New Zealand
Father - Patrick Lynch Dignan
Mother - Mary (Anastasia) Derron (Derrom)

They do list all their sources so maybe if you have a look at one of them it may be there and they just didn't use it
