I am hoping someone can help me. In 1917 (Mar Q) John W Dunn married Emma Slater, Basford District. I have no other information.

Who were the parents of John W Dunn? I would like to know their names if possible. If someone has access to the marriage details, the Post Office Directory or Electoral Rolls, that would be much appreciated.

I do not want any details of possible living descendants, only the parents names. Thank you.

Thank you for your details, but I don't feel sure about this particular family. If it is any help, three of John and Emma's sons ran a family business, Dunn Brothers, in Langley Mill, as Coal Merchants. Regards.

Hi,

The three sons: William L Dunn (b 1917 Basford June Q), John Frederick Dunn (b 1920 Basford Dec Q) and Fred Sydney Dunn (b 1922 Basford Dec Q). I didn't want to cross the line with any living persons, but I know William died in 1999 (Amber Valley) and Fred in 2001 (Amber Valley). Hope this helps.
