Is there anyone that could help or advise on this problem
John Abbot married Jane Knight 22 June 1854 possibly in Ireland,as they were both born therethey had a daughter born in Lanark 1867.He later Married Elizabeth Cochrane also born in Ireland about 1826.Elizabeth's father was James Cochrane a Farmer.
Now, at a later date Elizabeth Married George Rillie bef 1846 in Lanark.
  I just cant seem to get anywhere in Scottish records as to the parents of Elizabeth and George. Is it Possible some of our Irish friends could perhaps help

Hi Saz Thanks again All I can make out is that George Rillie was born abt.1820 ;Marr abt 1846 and died before 1846 not a lot of help but as you have shown he could be Rily,Reilly Anything Ive just tried BIVRI but only Scandinavia is available . alex
