Soloman SHERMUR of the parish of Withington and Jane TURNER of this parish married 14 DECEMBER 1764 after Banns

Soloman signed register, Jane left her mark (X)
Witnesses: John Guy ( a church official, witnessed other marriages)  and Henery Turner.

There is a remark made on the record too " Returned to this Place 30 May 1765"

Banns were published ~ 25 Nov. 1764, 2 and 9th Dec. 1764.

The Internet reference mentioned by Capetown is known to me.

I am dubious as I have not found any 'source info' for the Solomon b 1740 Withington.

However, I have found the birth and baptism for Solomon b 1742

Although all the subsequent info on this internet data, does match my Shurmer lineage.
