The Fron is an area just North of Crossgates, reading one of your other posts it is just a couple of hundred yards away from Coedoegan hall, and a mile or so from trelowgoed, apologies if this all has been answered

Thanks for confirming that, keigcf. I've come to the conclusion that historic references to 'Vron cottage'  could be applied to a number of different dwellings in the area. People who lived there at the time would have known whose was whose but it's harder to differentiate them from this time and distance.
