We really need to know where Dora and her husband moved to after their marriage and/or after WW2  ;)

And also:

Whether the known daughter was definitely born to Dora and Ernest as opposed to one of the other Robinson-Round couples who married around the same time (and where/when she was born)?

Whether there are other known children? (& if so where & when? - but no names of those still living).

Why is Dora thought to have been born c1916? NB if actually 1917 or later she may be redacted in 1939.

Is anything at all known about Ernest? E.g a child's birth cert should state his occupation.

Oh well done Ladyhawk.  Yes it looks as though Dora was an alternate name for Violet Dorothea.

Possible death as Violet D Robinson aged 57 in Hendon, 1957?

Probate 1958 as Violet Dorothea Robinson, single woman??? But executrix was Nora Frances Judith ROUND, spinster, matching the sister you have found in 1901.

So perhaps single woman (as opposed to spinster) is code for divorced, or similar?

I only came across the marriage by chance on F M P after looking at the Electoral Register
Lewisham for Ernest Robinson and working on a suggestion of Dora going by another name
as suggested by Mabel  :)
