Irish Passengers Into Liverpool 1840's

Hello!

Can anyone tell me if there are passenger lists from Ireland into Liverpool in the 1840's?

I am trying to trace a Thomas Brannon b. 1808 and his wife Betsy (possibly Elizabeth) who travelled to Liverpool between 1847 and 1852.

They had three children with them Mary, Michael and Thomas.

The family settled in Runcorn, Cheshire but I would really like to find out where they originally came from in Ireland.

Hope someone can help this novice out.

They didn't keep passenger lists as it was all the UK, no different than travelling from Scotland to Wales and so on.

I am trying to trace a Thomas Brannon b. 1808 and his wife Betsy (possibly Elizabeth) who travelled to Liverpool between 1847 and 1852.

Can you not find them on 1851 census in England?
Have you tried phonetic search and variations on spelling of surname? Might be Brennan(d) for instance on some records.
Did they put just Ireland as origin on later census? Were any relatives with them for census?
Were the children all born in Ireland? Have you followed each one through life to see if they gave any clues?
Do you know Elizabeth's surname?
How do you know they travelled via Liverpool? There were several ports on the west coast.

There are others in the household b Mayo so that could be a clue.

I can’t see a death for Eliza - do you have it?
What about the older children - did they survive?

Unfortunately Baptism records  do not begin until 1851 for that parish.

I had read they only kept passenger lists for ships to the US but thank you Sinnan! 

Maiden Stone I do have the census records from the time the family settled in Runcorn, although can't find a death record for Thomas Brannon Sr only his son Thomas.  Have started to search through records for the children and hope there will be a clue. 

Thank you Heywood for the extra info, the marriage surnames are really useful. I did notice the lodgers and thought there could be a connection so that will be on my list of 'to do'. 
The marriage record seems a possibility, Betsy (Elizabeth) was quite a bit younger than Thomas so it does fit.

Heywood I meant to add that Elizabeth Brannon died between the birth of her last daughter and 1861, possibly in childbirth.

That’s what I thought but I can’t see a death.
There is a death for Thomas Brennen 66 yrs in 1866.

Cheshire BMD site shows some deaths which may be your family.

Yes I think I will have accept that the name could be spelled differently, possibly a mistake by the person recording the death.

I think I will have to ask a few more questions of the older family members and see if they can remember any counties in Ireland mentioned in conversation.

I have done a little reading on the surname Brannon and it appears it mainly appeared in Donegal, Roscommon and a couple of other areas.
