James FoX, Anne Campbell, McKenna, Ellen Fox Mary Fox Dungannon
« on: Thursday 20 June 19 19:06 BST (UK) »
Hi
I'm so excited to have found this page. I have been searching ancestry for years trying to work out where my great grandfather James Fox was from. I have found out that James was born at Shamble Lane Dungannon 5 July 1865. His parents were James Fox (Butcher) and Annie Fox. My great grandfather also had two older sisters Mary Fox born 1861 and Ellen Fox born 1863.
Unsure when James Fox died but Anne Fox married Peter McKenna in 1870.  Anne McKenna died in Shamble Lane in 1904. I would love to more about their family and if there are any descendents living in Dungannon. Me and my mum are planning a visit. James my great grandfather went missing from Scotland after his wife and son died. thanks Annemarie

Hi thanks for the links. I see McKenna in the 1901 and 1911 but not Peter or Ann. This site is great I can't believe how much information I have found already. I can't wait to visit. Would love to chat with others looking into ancestry
thanks
