John Griffith Jones bc 1908 Wales

The above married Ella Irene Lewin 29 Jun 1929 at Toronto, York, Ontario. Ella passed away 21 Jul 1999 at Toronto. Only just found their marriage certificate on Anc which gives his middle name as Griffith, mmn looks like Pierce?
After their marriage he disappears but passed away before Ella according to her obituary which RunKitty found a while ago.

Was his sister Margaret Ann "Maggie" Jones who married Robert Edward Millar in Toronto.  According to an online tree she died 03 Dec 1989 Mississauga.  Perhaps her obituary might prove helpful.

Obituary for Margaret A Millar is in the Toronto Star on Dec 5 1989, page B15.

It says she died at the Credit Valley Memorial Hospital on Dec 3 1989.  She was in her 81st year.  Wife of the late Robert E Millar Sr.  Mother of M and R Fowles, R and C Millar, M and Robert Kekewich.  Predeceased by Gwen (Mrs F Matley).  Grandchildren and great grandchildren named.  No mention of siblings.  Service at Erin Mills Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Well done Cosmac!!  That is him.  I couldn't find the obit with a name search, but using the death date that you found...

Obit for John Griffith Jones in the Toronto Star on Aug 26 1972, page 99.  It says he passed away at his home, Bay Ridges, on Aug 25 1972.  Husband of Ella Lewin.  Father of A (Mrs C Graham).  Brother of Margaret (Mrs R Millar), Hugh and David.  Canada Wire and Cable employee.  Cremation - doesn't say where he is buried.

John's obit says his son in law is C Graham...this is a typo in the obit.   Ella's obit says his name is Gordon.

Thank you all for your superb research. Is it possible to find out when his daughter, Audrey Irene was born and where as well as her marriage to Gordon, and whether they had any children?
As an extra question, can you find out when Florence Jane nee Brown Lewin born 22 Aug 1887  passed away, her husband Albert James Lewin born 7 Mar 1881 passed away 6 Feb 1950 in Toronto?
