Yes I did think that but if legally would she not have changed her surname to Pinnegar? maybe they just fostered her but did notice Gwendoline is using the family surname in 1911.

Well we do have a mystery here. It now looks as if her mother was not married and the Pinnegar's fostered her. Again no Cooks in the family that I know of.

I have alot of Bleaken/Blakeney  so will investigate.  Gwendoline's brother is called Frederick William but younger so not him
