I cannot find her death
Thomas Phillips widow married Alice Trigg spinster 24 February 1828

There is a James Phillips who marries Lucy Lukins 1801 not at Langley but the banns were read there as it was James' parish

This is what someone sent me re Peacock.

I've had a look through the Stanstead PRs and there is an Elizabeth Peacock baptised in 1803, but it is definately not Peacock on the marriage, so perhaps someone has added Peacock because it ties in with the age given on the census (48). On family trees that I have looked at with a Phillips/Peacock marriage, they are saying that it took place in Langley with GUESS? wrote beneath so it shows that it hasn't been researched properly.

James Phillips married Eliza Peacock at St Dunstan in Wendon Lofts see my previous post.

He was living in Elmdon at the time and she was of the parish.
They did NOT marry in Langley.

Stanstead Mountfitchet Parish registers ERO
28 January 1803 Eliza baptized daughter of Samuel and Ann Peacock.

Langley re: George Phillips Widower who married Mary Tofts 6 February 1772

His 1st wife was Sarah Smith, banns read 17,24 October and 1 November 1758 the vicar neglected to put the marriage in the register.
There are a great many gaps in the entries for Langley

They had children
Mary 1759, George 1761, Sarah 1763, Elizabeth 1765.

At some point Sarah dies after 1765 and before 1772, as I said many gaps in the register.

Rebecca Chapman.
The only thing I can find is a marriage 27 May 1700 in Great Chesterford of John Chapman to Elizabeth Hopwood by license.
Groom was of Dry Drayton and the bride of Ickleton, both of these are in Cambridgeshire.

If you think these are a possibility you will need to check Cambridgeshire registers.

Note
If you are checking someone else's tree, I did not trace the families in Little Chesterford, only answered questions you had.
