Can anyone help with details of the Stephens youth who downed In the Avon, near Bredon, alongside Thomas Wagstaff and Daniel Trap in May 1835?

Thank you very much Daisy.

I wonder if you, or anyone else, would be kind enough to find out if there is a familial connection between Charles Stephens and Cornelius Stephens who is mentioned in my original post?

I’ve found a Cornelius Stephens in an 1871 census who is recorded to have been born 1813 in Alderton. So perhaps a brother/cousin of the drowned Charles Stephens. The search goes on....

Edit found a baptism of a Cornelius Stephens in Alderton 7th March 1813 parents Micheal and Elizabeth Stephens. So likely cousins.
