They also had an eight child who I don't know the name or sex of but was born in 1837 in Gloucester before dying on the 25th of April 1837, also in Gloucester.

In particular, I am interested in learning more about:
* Harriet Candy (1823-1885) and her husband Henry Morris Rogers (1821-1909) and their child Henry Albert Rogers (1856-?). I would like to find out Henry Albert's date of death.
* I noticed that Thomas Candy and Elizabeth Ann Lack's first child (Clara Jane Candy (1856-1857)) was born and died in Melbourne, Australia, however, Thomas's later children were born in Gloucester and Surrey. I was wondering is someone would help me find immigration records for Thomas and his wife.
* Mary Ann Candy (1820-1849) married a Mr William Huggins (1819-1866). Their second eldest child Jane Huggins (1844-1888) married a Mr William Hyam (1847-1924). I was hoping for any information about their children. Mr Hyam did remarry after Jane's death to a Kate Elizabeth Whitton (1861-1923).

Thank you for any assistance, I hope everyone is staying safe and getting lots of family history work done.

Dr Philip Candy.

With regards to Henry Albert Rogers.....

I found the following old Rootschat after  spending a good bit of time looking for what is already known:--

https://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=414523.0

Henry Albert Rogers Married Mary Ann Heppenstall, 1880 West Derby, Lancs
Two sons: Leonard Philip Rogers  Egremont, b 1882 Cheshire, and Laurence Frederick Rogers b  1891 Toxteth Park

Henry & Mary found on 1881 with his sister Clara Jane, in  Liscard, Cheshire
Henry & Mary & the boys  in 1891, in Toxteth Park
Henry is a Stationer's assistant, then a Stationer's Manager

They all disappear after 1891 from the UK.

There pretty compelling evidence Henry Albert went to South Africa & assumed the name "Charles Henry Graham" and the family became known as Graham thereafter. Mary and the boys certainly did.

According to his great Grandson, Charles Henry Graham,  was a  journalist, then editor of the South African Railway Magazine 30 yrs until retirement. He died when his great grandson Ken Graham (posting on the above topic, grandson of Laurence Frederick Graham) was aged abt 4.

Mrs CH Graham (59), LP Graham (33) Book keeper, LF Graham (24) Clerk, all came to England 1914, then left again 1915 on the ship Saxon, going to Capetown.

Ken had evidence Charles Henry Graham and Henry Albert Rogers were both born on 5th November.

Cheers

Thank you AMBLY for taking the time to respond.

As you can see, I've done a lot of research about this branch of the tree already.

I didn't know anything about Henry Albert possibly going to South Africa as Henry Charles. So you've given me a brand new rabbit hole to dive down. I also didn't know the birth date either.

Thanks again, Dr Philip Candy.
