James Kain born in Rochester Kent England 1858

[Maid of Kent]

Any help in finding the above would be much appreciated.
His parents were Isabella Frampton and Thomas Kain, they married medway 1858, have been through medway church records and have not found their marriage.
 James is on the 1861 census with his parents. John street, Chatham. mistranscribed and Rain.
cant find him on the 1871 or any other. His parents are on the 1881.

after that he is mixed with James Kain born 1850 Chatham. parents James Kain and Emily Hinkley.

He was James William per birth reg.  Could he be using his middle name?

The 1858 birth reg shows mmn Newland.  In 1861 Thomas was 52 & Isabella 42.  Was she previously married?

yes Newland was the name of her father, she had been married 3 times, interesting that she is still using that name. She was born 'out of wedlock' her mother's name was Young

Hi, Isabella was born 7.11.1819 in st Helena. Her parents being Peter and Ann NEWLAND. As Thomas was ex military I suspect they may have married abroad

I see Thomas was born in Kilmore Tipperary Ireland about 1805 and died in Medway aged 82yrs having been in 62 Foot as a Sergeant joining on 12/5/1846. The marriage is online March qtr 1858 Medway.

yes Paco and I trolled all through the Medway Churchs looking for that wedding, without success. I want to know if he was married before.
