I note the 1851 census, which names the wife of Lewis as Mary, you may have the following which I have found on Freereg.

Is it possible that Lewis first married Sarah below?

In 1861 Census - Nevin>Dist. 15> p.7 :
Lewis Roberts - Father - Widower - 77yrs - Shoemaker - born Pwllheli - Living with his son, William L. (born Pwllheli) & family ;
30/08/1867 - Burial - Nefyn Parish - Lewis Roberts - Union Workhouse - 83yrs.

When  William married in 1845 he stated that his father was Lewis Roberts a labourer
William did marry in Liverpool

Robert & Eleanor Cadwalader buried Denio Parish Church (Pwllheli). Robert, 09/02/1816, aged 60;  Eleanor 05/06/1830, aged 86.
