Hannah( Rees married name)born about 1770 Carmarthenshire

Hannah shows on the 1841 and 1851 census for cwmyglo Llanarthney, Carmarthenshire.  A John Rees shows on daughter’s Margaret marriage certificate 1850 to a David Jones llanarthney as her father. Trying to locate Hannah’s birth , marriage, and death along with that of John. From what I can establish is Hannah lived in the llanarthney area most of her life, living to 92 years on 1861 census when living with her daughter and family. So far not identified Hannah’s birth name- hitting brick walls any help would be greatly for. Many thanks

There's a Hannah David marriage to Walter Rees 11 Mar 1791 Llanegwad Carmarthenshire.

You aren't reading it wrong, but I'm assuming it was Hannah the mother born c1770 rather than Margaret the daughter.

Margaret shows as 26 in 1851, her mother as 81. That doesn't seem very likely.

Spouse:   Hannah David.  Pendry died Dec 1840.

From an online tree it seems that these were Margaret grandparents. John Rees bc 1797 was their son.   There is a will online for Penry naming John Rees as son, a Smith from Newbath?

Margaret bc 1825. Hannah was a little old to have been her mother?

Would need to verify, but a lot of evidence online.
