For the life of me I don’t understand why masks aren’t mandatory on public transport… too much expectation of the general public ‘to do the right thing for their fellow man ‘ and actually not!
I wear mine in virtually all situations… it’s common sense isn’t it?..

I read an article about China ploughing billions into many commonwealth countries and them becoming reliant on China… Barbados for one who will soon become an independent nation… apart from the fact China has helped them.. is this accumulation of nations by stealth while the rest of the world is busy with fighting covid… maybe I’m to cynical…

I am with you , Caroline , it is very sinister.

I do not like the test kits coming from China, nor some of the drugs needed to treat Covid .

Some made in Wuhan !

Having watched the press conference yesterday and this mornings news and discussion programmes, I am reminded that whether I agree or disagree with what the people interviewed say, I do prefer someone who ANSWERS the question asked and who doesn't waffle back to the question they HOPE had been asked .
I also get frustrated with interviewers who constantly interrupt the person answering and also interviewers who say ' we're running out of time so briefly .....' then proceed to ask a question that's several sentences long!

I couldn’t agree more…. But that’s journalists and politicians for you…. We just have to sift the wheat from the chaff! I spend a lot of time shouting at the tv…so in the end I have to stop watching or I could bust a blood vessel or worse!

I have never stopped wearing a mask, sanitising hands and cleaning baskets and trollies but I have been jostled  aside many times by people who won't and are charging about as though it's all over.

I don't understand why those like Rayard and others, who say they have never stopped wearing masks, sanitising etc seem so sanctimonious about it.

I gave up mask wearing when it was allowed and have been out and about and although cautious, more or less back to normal.  I haven't had a whiff of covid (actually don't know many who have) - so one can have a normal life in these days and times.

Once it becomes mandatory I will resume the mask wearing.

I really don't get why, having continued to wear a mask etc, after it was advised that it was no longer necessary, means some people feel that they have achieved something.  You may not have got covid - but neither did I.

Just because I have left a mask off doesn't mean my thinking is that the pandemic is over - I really don't think that assumption can automatically be applied to people who jostle you for a trolley Rayard.  I am sure that other variants will develop and further lockdowns may occur, I just feel that there can be some normality in between.

Sorry to have to say this - BUT - I would rather have rayard as a neighbour than Pheno!  :-X

And I don't understand why vaccination isnt mandatory ecept for genuine medical reasons. The anti- vaxxers in my opinion have the right to put themselves at risk, that is their right and privilege. They DO NOT have any right to put my or anyone's life at risk. Our government has been very remiss in late actions and acting as though restricitions apply to us, not them.
As regards Chinese involvement in other countries, perhaps slavery and in effect the UK living off its commonwelath for many decades has something to do with it.

"I gave up mask wearing ..."

Well, bully for you.  Let's hope you aren't an asymptomatic carrier spewing out virus particles and also serving as a host for covid to mutate further.
