Sorry to have to say this - BUT - I would rather have rayard as a neighbour than Pheno!  :-X

Why if neither of us will give you covid???

Plus I said I didn't understand the attitude - neither do I understand yours.

"I gave up mask wearing ..."

Well, bully for you.  Let's hope you aren't an asymptomatic carrier spewing out virus particles and also serving as a host for covid to mutate further.

Well thats exactly what I think about all of you who keep harping on about not having given up mask wearing.

Said in my previous post that I really don't know anybody who has had covid - so can't be an asymptomatic carrier then I presume otherwise I would most likely have infected somebody.  But remember I wore a mask all the time it was required and will do so again - as I said.

Fair enough - BUT at least rayard is taking precautions, whilst you appear to be giving the "two fingers" to the whole situation, like a lot of other people.  I, of course, stand to be corrected, but until then I will wear my mask inside buildings, AND I have had my 2 jabs plus booster.

Actually I have had 2 jabs and a booster and I am simply following government guidelines - masks are no longer mandatory (until a bit later this week!)  I am not contravening any regulations, haven't and won't.  Plus I also had an 8 day inpatient spell in hospital earlier this year when covid was rife throughout all the wards and was tested daily and did not catch it so know I am not an asymptomatic carrier.

Can't see that anybody has anything more to fear from me than from Rayard - its just that you think you have.

Ecuadorians wear masks and do so mostly without complaint.  There are no protests; I don't hear a lot of whining; they do what has to be done and soldier on.  I seldom see an unmasked person out on the street although I do see some on the tv news.

I don’t think anyone had a sanctimonious attitude, they were stating their
Views and actions, none  of which are likely to hurt anyone else.
We are allowed to do that in this country and where Erato lives.
You too are allowed free speech.

The difference is who is most likely to aid the spread?
Who is most likely to aid in limiting it?

Your views would have
been at least read ,well by me,  without rising indignation at YOUR dangerous scoffing at recognised precautionary measures being taken by people trying their best.
Viktoria.

I will continue to wear a mask as that it my choice, everyone has their own take on it. Good luck to the anti-mask brigade, they also have a right to make their own decisions. Until the situation where we can all be confident that it is safe not to, I will continue to wear a mask.
