Hi I have the baptism record of Sarah maggs baptised august 1820 in west harptree father was George mother was Elizabeth

Sarah married William chapple in 1842 in Bristol father listed as george

In the 1851 census the dob was 1822 west harptree 1861 census dob moved to 1826 again born west harptree. 1871 was back to 1822 and again west harptree

From this I believe Sarah maggs must have been the child of George and Elizabeth

In the 1841 census I found a Sarah maggs dob listed as 1821. She is living in chewton mendip 5 miles from west harptree. She is not living with the maggs though she is living with John and Mary lane so possibly she is working as a servant there.

Her occupation in 1841 is female servant.
