I'm trying to trace the parents of William Lowe, who married Mary Piercey in Chester in 1840. On this record, his father is listed as George Lowe, engraver.
In 1851, William and Mary Ann were living in Liverpool, and William's birthplace is listed as Sheffield and in 1861 William and his family were living in West Ham.
The only birth in Handsworth, Sheffield is to a George and Mary Lowe but I can't definitively identify them on any census record either in Chester or in Sheffield. His siblings appear to be John Turner Lowe born 1817 and George Lowe born 1822. I can't seem to view any of the original records to check for George Lowe's occupation. Looks like he married Mary Turner in 1816 also in Sheffield, Yorkshire.
I'd appreciate any help in determining George and Mary Lowe's whereabouts after the 1820s.
