Can anyone help with finding deaths for Jessie Martin Cruickshank(m/s Murray) born 1909 in Tidworth, Hampshire, England.  She emigrated to New Zealand in July 1947 with her son * Cruickshank born on 5 June 1938 in Glasgow and also her Mother Margaret McLaren Martin (Margaret died on  17 Aug 1960 in Auckland, NZ
I can't find Jessie on any census in NZ or any gravestone.   Also, unable to find any details on Murray Cruickshank.
Any help would be much appreciated

We don't have census only Electoral Rolls (E/R)

The Electoral Rolls below - she was classed as a Widow

1940 living in Eden
1949 living in Eden/Waitakere ..... divorced
1954 living in Eden
1957 living in Eden
1960 living in Eden
1963 living in Eden

As there is no more sighting of her under the name Cruickshank, it is probable that she might have remarried, or she might have left NZ.

Just thinking out loud here. As for the son, it could be possible that he is still living .. if that is the case his name will have to be removed.

Both posts removed ... for the life of me I didn't pick up that it was a male and not female ... well the first two names were right

Just as well I am going to Spec Savers tomorrow

No harm done, and back to the drawing board for other chatters to find.

Jessie is a female name, not a male.  She was Mrs. Jessie Martin JOHNSTONE born Scotland.

Yes I have plenty of Jessie's in my line, it was a mistake on my part not noticing the gender.

A repeat of what was in KHP's deleted posts. I would not kick these out of the park just yet. It is possible there is an error of gender in the cemetery records. I think the coincidences should be checked out.
